The sent of Salty sea water Stung the inside of Ebony's sensitive noes,the male sneeze with such ferocity it seemed to propel him backwards.The boy caught himself staggering clumsily as he did so.Ebony's eyes narrowed as he shook himself from side to side like a dog that had been soaked. " ugh Damn sea water..." The male looked over to his right,his eyes squinted .A few meters away off of the dirt cover path he was on. was a large expanse of salt water ocean.the Indian ocean to be precise.With its bright glistening water and clean sandy beaches spotted from time to time with tall green palms...and who could forget the occasional gull.

Many would have died to see such a beautiful sight,though ebony saw this big salty puddle,and its sand box beach as nothing more than an annoying obstacle.The male snorted arrogantly before continuing his way down the dirt covered road. Suppose their was a good side to being so close to the beach?...it was warm...not cold,no rain. The boy slipped his hands into his Jean pocket. He seemed to relax,he wasn't being pestered by the annoying sound of a bustling city.....nope...it was quiet....and rather peaceful.

" ugh Damn sea water..."

Gaia blinked from where she was standing, which is just a few inches away from the road. That's rare, hearing someone cursing the beach. Usually, anyone that comes here usually praises the beach, or maybe just go all romantic and stuff, but she never heard curses.

The light, brown haired girl looked around, wondering where did the voice come from. She wasn't too close to the waves for it to drown out that voice, and it sounded near too.

Her eyes caught a rather disgruntled looking male, human? A frown graced her face. One of those, environmental hating humans? She hates those. Nah, maybe it was just her. Besides, he looked rather sick. Wait, was that loud sneeze from him too?

Maybe he is sick, which explains why he looked so disgruntled and ruffled. Gaia walked over to him, worry on her face now.

"Hello, are you sick?" she started, "Do you need some medicine?"

Ebony's sweat soaked jet black hair suddenly begin to spike up,erecting sky wards like the quills of a porky pine.The boy's body tensed as the young female's words raddled threw ebony's skull, like a freight train caught in an earth quake.The male's forest green eyes widen with shock.The boy jumped back suddenly away from the rather lovey looking female.The girl had managed to do a feet no other had,startling the poor boy.The turned to look at her, his eyes analyzing every move she made along with giving off a cold stare.

Her words...though kind as they where,they seemed to be like magma heated icicles tearing threw his light olive tented skin.Now,Now. he couldn't possibly be angered at a female coming to his need? Maybe it was the heat that had gotten to the boy. Shaking the angered felling off like a dog in the rain.Ebony's eyes seemed to solfen,slightly.

He had calmed down now,and continued to look down upon the girl. It took a minute to fully comprehend what she had said." I'm fine....." he boy begin, a sick and twisted grin had now appeared onto his face,they where the only two on the beach....this female was alone..." Just fine..."he repeated once more his voice had changed back to its original dark and sinful tone.

Ebony continued to smirk now walking up to Gaia he studied her before leaning closer to the girl and inhaled. yet another female with a wonderful sent.....how nice..

The boy took a step back.Now was the time to turn on the charm,Ebony wondered how much more he could milk this situation.. " How,Rude of me.......Im smelling you out and I have yet to ask of your name." the older male cooed a sort of lustful Irony carried in his voice as he reached forward and grabbed Gaia's hand the male,then gently kissed the top of her rather soft seemingly delicate hand." The name is Ebony...and what may I ask Is a lovely lady such as yourself called ?"

" I'm fine....."

Gaia's frown went deeper a little, like she was confused why the boy seemed like he is denying his pain.

" Just fine..."

Oh, now his voice sounded different. Now, Gaia is an emphatic person, but even she couldn't quite sense an emotion that she is unfamiliar with. And lust is certainly one emotion that she is unfamiliar with.

In fact, she was rather confused and uncomfortable when the male when nearer to her, almost like smelling her. Oh wait, he did smell her. Gaia fidgeted uncomfortably, her fingers playing with the skirt of her lacey dress. She was wearing pale pink and peach today, with little, small ribbons decorating her skirt, something to play with, and lace around the edge.

And suddenly, the boy just stepped away, causing Gaia to breathe deeply. She didn't eve realize she was holding her breathe, and a light blush colored her cheeks.

" How,Rude of me.......Im smelling you out and I have yet to ask of your name."

Gaia felt her tongue got frozen, something she was unfamiliar with. In an attempt for distraction, one way being daydreaming, Gaia attempted to busy her thoughts with what kind of person this could be. A human? Maybe, but he acted differently. Definitely not one of her kind, so one of the unholy ones? Maybe.

" The name is Ebony...and what may I ask Is a lovely lady such as yourself called ?"

She let out a small squeal as he kissed her hand, nearly pulling her hand back, but she held on. It would be rude, wouldn't it?

"My name...my name...Gaia," she stuttered, her face turning redder. It was becoming obvious it wasn't the color of light or something, in fact, she look almost like a tomato with light, brow hair. "Ni-nnice to meet yyy-you."

Ebony smirked,but upon seeing the girl blush..His face did the same.A strange and involuntary action.one of witch he didn't expect to happen.He could feel his face get hotter as a light shade of red appeared onto his pale cheeks.

Immediately Ebony Released Gaia's hand and looked away."come on ebony get a hold of yourself!" his inner thoughts screamed.this action had thrown the male off his usual one track mind.The male cleared his throat with loud Ahem' . " Gaia was it? "he begin forcing his eyes to look back at the solitary female."Do you know exactly what Island we're on?" he asked.

Gaia hesitantly pulled back her hand when the boy let go. Boy? Man is more like a word to describe the male in front of her. He seems so mysterious and confusing!

When Ebony cleared his throat, Gaia, not prepared for the sound, jumped at least an inch. It took her everything to stop for squealing again, knowing that is a rather pathetic voice, and not only that, squealing could be rather annoying, to some people. Maybe Ebony finds it annoying too? Would he act weirdly because of that?

Curious or not, Gaia prefer to not find out, or at least, not now. Her cheeks are still cooling. Dang, she gets embarrassed and flustered way too fast and much sometimes.

" Gaia was it? "

A timid nod from the girl, eyes blinking back at him almost shyly, yet, if one sees close enough, there is some sort of curiosity in it. When her eyes met Ebony's, she blushed lightly again, mentally slapping herself. What's wrong with her? It was not as though Ebony was going to eat her or something!

"Do you know exactly what Island we're on?"

Gaia blinked, this time, looking utterly confused. "You don't know?" she started, before realizing her mistake. Of course he didn't, why else would he ask? Another mental slap to herself then.

"We are in Bali, Indonesia," Gaia replied quickly, hoping not to anger the male. Who knows what his reaction could be? "How did you get here if you don't know where you are?"

The dark haired older male cocked an eye brow,This girl squealed like a little piglet whom was about to be gobbled up by a wolf...How quaint.
Watching as she jumped back he couldn't help but to chuckle darkly,Jumpy little dame.

She would be enough entertainment,maybe...as long as his stomach didn't bother the boy,Gaia wouldn't be in any sort of danger. Well....unless his male had a sudden urge to spread his genes,though rare. he wouldn't hesitate ,Ebony Enjoyed inflicting pain upon others it made him feel powerful.
The male continued to eye Gaia,this girl was rather cute though jumpy... Cute meaning-he would total take advantage of her given the chance-

Ebony wasn't exactly the boy friend type,Free spirited he did as he wished. and by past experiences their was little anyone could about it.The male smirked looking the girl up and down with interest......Suddenly his devilish smirk faded to a frown.....

Wait.......What did this girl just say!? Indonesia! Bali!? "WHAT THE HELL!? Indonesia! Damn it !!!" Ebony cursed he turned away from the girl in an angered filled fit.
Clutching his fist at his side he forced himself to calm down......no matter....he should try to enjoy his day...

Ebony turned back to face Gaia." I hoped aboard a cargo ship...."he said telling the truth,he didn't care if she knows about him smuggling himself aboard a ship.The boy then chuckle." So female,what exactly are you?"he asked.knowing her cute little stature had some sort of holy or was it unholy vibe.A look of playful curiosity plagued Ebony's face.........

Gaia jumped again, since Ebony practically shouted so suddenly after he was eying her...well, at least she thought he was eying her, or Ebony could have been seeing the background behind her or something, but it had make her more fidgety.

" I hoped aboard a cargo ship...."

Ah, that makes sense now. Maybe he accidentally missed his stop or something. That would explain why he was so confused. For a moment there, Gaia's imagination were running wild, taunting her with images of a shipwreck sailor or something along the lines.

The chuckle caught her off guard, but thankfully, Gaia didn't jump this time. Much better. She is getting use to him, or, at least to his eccentric ways.

" So female,what exactly are you?"

"Archangel," the answer was out from her mouth before she eve thought about it. She had said it without hesitation, not being careful at all. Gaia tilted her head.

"What about you? Are you human?"

Ebony's ears seemed to twitch,once Gaia had mentioned she was an Archangel....."...How interesting.....though the fidgeting annoyed Ebony to no end he..begin to grow interested in this young lady..
The male's smile had now slowly curved into a Sick and twisted grin. Stepping forward.He begin his ritual of pacing around his 'prey' As he rounded Gaia the male's dark chuckles raised in volume." heheh, human?...I think not......Holy being..." the male seemed to now growl.The base in the male's voice could be compared to that of thunder. ".....does the name skin walker,ring any bells?...Strong dangerous....and feral.." the male cooed." tell me Archangel are you afraid of dogs.?." His laughter seemed to echo across the sandy beach.

Gaia froze. There was a murderer sort of tone, like he could take her life from her almost immediately. It's...terrifying. Oh, and that grin on his face...Gaia had to force herself to keep her eyes open, despite the fact she really wanted to just close them and hide away.

" heheh, human?...I think not......Holy being..."

That tone didn't sound human. Unless its those sort of human who really didn't like her race or something, so willing to kill their kind. Yes, there were people who dislike the holy beings, such as pessimists of the world, blaming why couldn't they have done something for their lives. Selfish wish, but a logical one to a certain degree.

Ebony's voice is sounding like a growl now, reminding Gaia about tigers. They have a similar sort of growling too.

".....does the name skin walker,ring any bells?...Strong dangerous....and feral.."

A skin walker! Honestly, Gaia have no hostility or grudge against this particular race of beings, not when they share a certain kind of love for nature with her, but she had heard stories. The darker side of skin walkers. The mere thought of it make her skin crawl.

"tell me Archangel are you afraid of dogs.?."

Gaia gulped. "N-no," she replied honestly. Dogs are nice, she had even feed some of the streets of Denpasar, Bali's capital city. "Am-m I-i su-sup-p-pose to be af-fraid?" she stuttered, looking quite annoyed and despaired with herself. Why did her voice fail at this moment?

Ebony's sick grin continued to grow,heheh she was like a lone doe cornered by a pack of hungry wolves. Another chuckle came from him " heheh,yes...you should be..." he cooed before waling back in front of her,his forest green eyes had faded to a dark red.He was ready for the kill.Ready to end this girl's life,and devouring whatever was left of her.Angel or not,food was food...but suddenly The sound of flapping wings filled the air,Nearly pissing himself Ebony drooped to the ground covering his head and trembling as a group of gulls flew over head.He was preparing for pain...prepared to hear his fathers thick harsh voice,ready for the end..Ebony remained on the ground obviously scared,Even when the gulls continued out to the open ocean....never before had he done this in front of a female..but who could blame him.....he had a fear of birds..

Oh, that sounds awfully threatening! How Gaia wished she had learned any offensive attacks, whether magic or not, right now! Wouldn't it had kept her safe at least? Her passive nature shook her head at her though, reminding her hurting someone is never worth it. Well, it was too save her life, right?

The girl closed her eyes, ready for her fate, but was surprised when nothing happened. A gull squawked above them, and she opened her eyes to see the cowering male. She blinked, before thanking the gods, even though they probably won't hear her. Nature just saved her life.

Even so, a sort of pity struck Gaia when she saw the cowering male. He looked so afraid, as though as the bird is going to kill him or something. She wonder why, although that is probably not the best time to ask.

It is a good time to ask whether he is fine or not though. Gaia squat down beside the defensive boy, waiting for a few seconds. That's when she decides to ask.
"Ebony? Are you okay?"

The once overly confident and cocky male was now lying on the hard,dirt covered ground.He was still trembling as he looked up at Gaia. His now crimson colored pupils where dilated small.The boy had the look of pure terror on his face.He had thought those birds where his aggressive and abusive father. He too was a Skin-walker like Ebony, but this man usually preferred forms of the avian variety.


Ebony shuttered,Remembering what his father had once done to him....out of a fit of anger...due to being fired from a job. Ah yes,he remembered that fateful day all too well. Losing the felling in his arms from begin strapped tightly to a tree....his father welding a stake knife moving it in front of the scared kid like some kind of toy,Ebony remembered what came next....the terrible pain of his father cutting into his stomach like a Halloween pumpkin....

Knowing this Ebony had acquired a fear of birds.Thinking each and every one of them was his father. Gaia's words had calmed him some but not entirely..

Slowly Ebony rose,flinching at every noise he Herd. The male stood now.He looked away from Gaia,He had wished she hadn't seen that.....now this girl had witnessed him in a state of weakness....this was something ebony didn't like. " I-I'm fine..." he said a low growl came afterward..His seemingly fearful attitude had now been replaced by anger and irritation.

Ebony's head snapped around to look at Gaia." Liston girl!, forget what you had just seen...if you bring it up again and I'll kill you,If you tell anyone...i'll hunt you down and strangle you myself GOT IT!?" he said wishing to keep this little secret,just between the two of them.But he went about telling it as a threat..

Gaia flinched, a little surprised by the changing moods. It was almost as fast as the wind currents, or the appearance of a flash flood. Suddenly, and quite dangerous. One voice in her head tells her to run away and hide, another tells her to understand him, saying that he probably dislike this part of him for some reason that she should never know, despite the earlier events.

"I won't tell anyone," Gaia replied back quietly, but firmly. She might be easily scared, but there are certain times when a certain kind of courage is available to her. Ebony had become some sort of odd friend for the past few minutes, she almost liked him despite his odd attitude.

Gaia look at him, adding,"I won't tell anyone, I promise." She forced herself not to continue by asking why is he so afraid, in the fear of her own safety. No, not when he is still that jumpy.

Talking about that, isn't skin walkers jumpy in the wild? Does that apply to Ebony too? The one city Gaia could think about that is in Bali is its capital city, Denpasar.

"Ebony? Are you hungry?" she asked, trying to turn the topic to where it is neutral and less dangerous.

Ebony snorted,his jet black hair was littered with sand.His arms shocked nervously at his side.He was shaken but ok. Ebony looked back at the girl.His Forest green eyes where now looking into her's,could he trust this girl...after all he was trying to earlier. Continuing to stare into Gaia's beautiful green eyes. He could tell by those glistening orbs that Gaia wasn't going to harm him.

Her now calm Exterior begin to calm Ebony down as well.He then walked over to Gaia...she wasn't going to tell anyone,he was trusting her with that....what else could the male do...erase her memory?,If only it was that easy." Good.."he said coldly..but he soon stopped as Gaia asked if he was hungry. Ebony seemed to smile. " yes..Actually ...I am.." Ebony cooed,sure he liked the taste of human meat....but the male would eat normal human food as well. " so are you going to take me some where to get some food.....or...am i going to have to help myself.." The male said in a teasing sor of tone as he walked up beside Gaia.Licking his lips he snickered....this male wasn't going to harm gaia....Ebony soon frowned,he looked towards the sea...making sure the birds weren't coming back..He then looked back down at Gaia. " could we possibly go to a place where their are no birds?"he asked.
