Gaia smiled, soft and gentle instead of her nervous and excited one. She was hoping for that. Maybe if she could get him to a place without birds, he would calm down and, by luck, become better friends. Better than now, that's of course. She had to try hard to not be jumpy when Ebony lick his lips earlier. He had looked like he wanted to devour her in one bite.

"Of course," she replied, her eyes smiling happily, "I was thinking of the closest city, or, the only city actually. How about we head to Denpasar?" That's the capital city of this island, and being the only city, it tends to be quite crowded.

She reach out for his hand, before pulling, not sure what to do, whether to pull his hand like she would do to anyone, or stay safe and just lead the way. She decided on the latter. "Let's go," she smiled, albeit with a nervous tint in it, "It's this way." Gaia started walking, showing the way. It's not far from the city, seeing the island is a small place anyway.

She was calm now,this was something Ebony liked to see in a girl..
" Denpasar?" he repeated,Ebony had never herd of such a place,The male imagined a bustling city with over crowded streets....but never the less if he wanted to eat he'd have to trust his new tour guide..

Ebony soon cocked his head as Gaia was reaching out for his hand.The boy had an 'are you serious?' look of his face.He then watched as she pulled her hand back.was this girl trying to make friends......suppose it wouldn't hurt to go along with her sherade...maybe sucking up would lead to more food?

The boy then nodded as he walked up to Gaia's side.Ebony gently slipped his hand into her's." lead the way..." he cooed as he grasped her warm soft hand.A nice yet mischievous smile had appeared onto the boy's face.

Gaia let out a tiny, tiny 'meep' when she felt Ebony's had in hers. She blinked. Was it a good thing that Ebony had regained his confidence, or was it bad? She suppose it is a little of both, and tried to ignore the warmth of his hands. It is either that, or the blush that is slowly dominating her original cheek color.

She continued leading the way, until they reach to on part of a bustling city, full of life.

"Here's Denpasar, or at least, one part of it," Gaia introduced. She know this city quite well of course, being in Bali for quite a while. She thought about a list of food to eat. Wonder if he likes...

"Say, do you like chicken?" she asked, before seemingly finding a flaw in her sentence, "I mean cooked chicken of course! Not the human chicken coward or anything!"

Ebony's eyes seemed to light up as they entered the city. This had to be some kind of dream. Their where people selling food on stands..heheh he could get use to this kind of living.

The boy's head snapped around to look at Gaia.He smiled as she spoke of chicken."heh,of corse...i love chicken....both kinds... fowl and human.."he teased.The male then directed his attention to a stand where a tried old man was selling some interesting looking fruit,The old man seemed asleep.Unfortunately for Gaia,She happen to be in the presence of a 'class A' shop lifter...Ebony released Gaia's hand as he casually walked over to the stand.The fruit was a greenish color and had an oval sort of shape to it.This was something new to ebony he had never seen such a fruit before....Then with a quick swipe he took it from the stand,Quickly stuffing it into his pocket before prancing back over to Gaia. The male then took it out of his pocket and examined the Lime,the light green color made it seem appetizing.

Without waiting to peal the rough skin off.Ebony bit into it take a large chuck out of the side,for a moment he seemed to enjoy it until the sower tangy flavor hit his taste buds. Ebony's Face tightened,his lips puckering out like a fish as he turned away spitting the contents of his mouth into the ground before tossing the lime behind him. " BLAH!! What the hell was that!?" he snorted as he wiped the saliva from his mouth. Ebony would learn to think twice before bite into something new...

Gaia blinked, unsure of what to make of that sentence. She was still pondering about it when Ebony went about and check out the stalls. She didn't notice the shop lifting Ebony committed, being quite engrossed in the content of another stand. Even when Ebony was beside her again and biting out of a lime she had assumed he had bought, she was still picking out some native fruits.

Speaking fluently in Indonesian, Gaia asked the shopkeeper. "Cik, berapa ya ni? [Miss, how much is this?]" she asked gently, and when she heard the price, she nodded and handed a somewhere about ten thousand rupiahs to the lady. Unlike Ebony, she did not shoplift. Gaia gratefully took the bag of fruits she just bough, before facing Ebony, only to see him spluttering out whatever he was eating. Lime, was it?

" BLAH!! What the hell was that!?"

Gaia blinked, before peals of laughter came out from her. "It's lime!" she exclaimed, looking at the fruit in Ebony's hand, for a while forgetting his scary nature. She smothered her laughter quickly when she does remember his earlier behavior, before hastily taking out one of those brown fruits. With quick movement, Gaia peeled the brown, scaly layer of the fruit that she had just bought, before holding it out to Ebony.

"Try this one instead," she smiled, "It's a salak fruit. It's sweet, but be careful of the tough, hard seed inside." Gaia absolutely loves the Salak fruits. They are sweet and crunchy, not watery at all.

The fruit itself is quite round, with tough, brown, scaly skin. Inside is light brown, with a thin onion-like layer over it, which you could choose whether to eat together or take it out. Even deeper is a round seed, obviously unable to be eaten. The fruit itself is crunchy, sweet, with nearly no water content. It can be eaten quite cleanly.

But if you are asking what language I speak daily, then I have to answer English, Malay, Chinese and Hakka. Monkeys? Yeah, we do. Bali is still pretty traditional, so we even have horse carriages on the road. What about Florida? Do you have winter season there? Oooh, do you all get hurricanes? I never seen winter before....

Ebony merely grimaced as Gaia laughed at him.How dare she....But the male shrugged it off,She seemed happy..this feeling begin to rub off on the male.He then smiled.

The male watched ,intrigued as Gaia took out the brownish scaly fruit out of the bag she was carrying. Ebony cocked is head,this didn't look edible...hell it looked worse than the lime...maybe it tasted as bad too.

Ebony continued to watch as Gaia swiftly pealed the outside of the fruit with her soft fingers. It's texture seemed smooth, almost like a pealed apple, now the salak fruit it looked appetizing!! Ebony looked up at Gaia,he hesitated before taking the fruit...was she really about to buy him food after there little run in one the beach....she seemed to forgive him..

The boy now looked down at the salak fruit,he then took a large bite out of it.the male chewed before swallowing the sweet and delectable fruit.He then took the hard seed out of the middle before digging in,obviously having any table manners....(not that he was at a table anyways...XDD) After finishing off the fruit Ebony seemed to sigh with releafe.."That was.......Delicious!!" he yelled,happy for once. His eyes begin to sparkle with pure delight." do you have more? " he asked.

Gaia watched nervously as Ebony ate the Salak fruit. She wonders if he liked the sweet fruit. Or was he the type that prefers not too sweet things instead? So when Ebony sighed and smiled, Gaia let out the breath she didn't know she was holding, feeling quite relief.

"That was.......Delicious!! do you have more? "

My, he almost looked like a small kid. That's an interesting change. "Sure," she nodded, holding out the bag, "I bought some just now." Gaia let Ebony have accessed into the bag.

"Do you need any help with the fruit?" she asked, "Or do you want other fruits? You like sweet fruits, Ebony?" If he really did, she wouldn't mind buying some mangoes nearby.

It's the mango season in Bali, and they were usually sweet, big and juicy during this season. Gaia loved them, in fact, Salak and Mangoes were probably her two favorite fruits in this island.

Or is he hungry for real dishes instead? He did mention he likes chicken, maybe she could bring him to that famous prestaurant which serve one of their local dishes, 'Ayam Penyet' or, if translated directly, 'Flattened Chicken.' It sounded awfully funny, but from experience, Gaia knew they were quite delicious.

OOC;; Well, for starters, where I now live, it is normal to know the basic for at least three languages. As for the monkey's species? I am not really sure, they are so common no one really pays attention to them, not until they steal something from you that's it. Oh gosh, you been thrown into a hurricane? It's not painful? They say it can kill you! It looked far scarier in pictures....

Ebony smiled as he snatched the bag and begin to rummage greedily threw it.Te male pulled out another Salak fruit,The male bit down and begin to peal it with his teeth.once the rough skin was off,and the hard seed taken out the male shoved the hole thing in to his mouth,slavering every taste until he swallowed it. Ebony then turned to Gaia as she spoke of more fruit. "...Not really....i mean besides the Salak.He said with a smile....Can we get some Chicken..?" he asked his predatory side wished for meat.

No it didn't hurt...A hurricane is nothing but a big thunderstorm.The only danger is flooding and the wind pushing things down-like tree's or power lines,they can also produce tornadoes....Other than that their harmless,my best friend and I actually went outside to play in it (we where stupid back then....a tree could have feel on us...noting happened we only got soaked wet XD) It was fun..the only down side is the power goes out and your stuck being board.....Thats what killed meh XDD boredom.....And yeah it does look scary in pictures!

Gaia supposed it made sense, since he did kind of give out that aura that he loves meat. Perhaps it was his predatory look that he had shot to her many times when they met at the beach?

"Well, I am a little hungry too," she chuckled lightly, "I am guessing this is your first time here. Come, I will show you a nice dish that is famous here." With that, Gaia practically hopped off, actually happy. Ebony isn't hostile anymore! He is actually friendly and asking her thins a normal person would! She felt like she had made an awesome new friend.

She led them into a traditional hut like building, actually a restaurant.

Gaia felt hyper now. Ebony didn't look like someone who would be friends to people on a daily basis, so if he is so nice to her, she must have became his friend somehow! She felt rather accomplished and happy.

"Let's go in!" she couldn't help but excitedly tugged at him and led him to one of the seats. This was a favorite spot of Gaia's, overlooking a tiny muddy pond with pink water lilies.

They said they found the baby's leg sticking out unable to be flushed down]. In my country, we have more than four religion at once, so most of us are confused to what and what. Like me, I believe that every religion is right, and ultimately, God did created this world and is our supreme ruler. Officially, I am under the Buddhist religion. We have arranged marriages, but our country didn't practice it much nowadays, thank goodness, because I really did not want a fiance yet. XD It's nice talking to you too, America feels like a totally different world! This is what they call fun education lol.

Ebony continued to look around he soon stopped,his Forest green eyes turned to look at Gaia. He listened as she asked him the question.Ebony shrugged " Across the ocean some where..."he said." the united states...i think" he said with a smirk. The male's eyes begin to light up once the waited brought back the food.The food smell delicious! As he set the plates down Ebony couldn't contain himself. The male immediately begin to scarf down his food like a mad man. The waiter set the drinks down.One in front of Gaia and the other in front of Ebony. whom turned to the man and growled,not wanting to be touched nor disturbed while he was eating.The waiter merely cocked and eye brow before tuning and walked abruptly away.

She's really into the love and peace sort of thing.And I don't blame her,If their where more love & peace,their would be no war...or at least i hope not..
If ya think about it War is a human creation,were the only 'animals' whom fight amounst each other using weapons that could eventually tear the world apart...like those damn nukes... I really dislike nuclear bombs,atom bombs and hydrogen bombs...Though they are kinda cool,but they could eventually destroy the world, If only people hadn't created them.....

Gaia's gentle chuckle flitted through the air as she watch Ebony ate. With much amusement, she sipped her cold Milo slowly, thanking the waiter with a nod.

Gaia paused, confusion flitting across her face. "How is the United States like?"

TAG ;; I absolutely hate the bombs. They devastated a neighboring country to my country before, with nukes, and the effect still linger on until today. The worse part is, during that war, that country that got bombed was ready to give up. Not to mention the cities they bomb were civilian cities. Check up on Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombing.

You know what's the second thing worst? The fact that I am now in a country that had warred against my birth country, and a few years back, nearly did it again. Just what is so cool of war anyway? It's people like us, who are stuck between two countries that suffer. I always wondered, if there is truly a war between the country I live in and my birth country like last time, which side would I choose? -sorry for the rant-

I believe in God, but I am really confuse which religion to go. So I kinda decided I believe in all religions, as long as they guide humans to goodness. Have you ever heard of Yin and Yang? It is part of the Chinese religion, forgotten from which, but it teaches us about balance. You should check it out.
